If you’re looking for a fun and chill place to grab a bite and a drink in Seaside, Florida, you’ve got to check out The Daytrader Tiki Bar & Restaurant. It’s the newest spot in town and the first sit-down restaurant to open in Seaside in over ten years.

What’s the Vibe?

The Daytrader has a cool, laid-back feel. Chef-Owner Nikhil Abuvala was inspired by the Polynesian islands and the Gulf of Mexico, so you’ll find a mix of those vibes. It’s designed to help you forget about work and just enjoy yourself. The restaurant has a fun, anti-corporate attitude, which makes it even more appealing.

The décor is modern tiki, with bright patterns, brass touches, and natural stuff. There’s a beachy terrace with lots of plants and colorful furniture. With 130 seats, mostly in covered outdoor areas, you’ll have plenty of space to relax.

Who’s Behind The Daytrader?

The Daytrader is owned by Chef Nikhil Abuvala, who also owns Roux 30a, Nanbu Noodle Bar, and Nanbu Too. He’s lived in South Walton for most of his life and has been a local business owner for over 10 years. Chef Abuvala is committed to bringing unique dining experiences to the area.

The Design

Chef Abuvala worked with Jonathan Douglas & Associates for the architecture and exterior design. Stantec, a global design firm, handled the interior design and landscaping.
